Share your community assembly with the world

Have you run a community assembly, gathering, or deliberative event? Congratulations!

Date: July 22nd 2026

Now it’s time to reflect on, share and celebrate your achievements — and make sure that your efforts make a difference.

Assemblis gives you a space to reflect on your assembly, share it with the people who were there, funders, and your wider network. It is also a place to connect your assembly to a growing global movement of communities taking action together.

Reflect on what you achieved, share with participants, funders and your network, connect to a growing movement

Note: We use the term assembly throughout, but we know communities call these gatherings by many names — forum, gathering, citizens' panel, community meeting. Whatever you called yours, this space is for you.

Haven't run an assembly yet?

How do I add my assembly to Assemblis?

An example assembly

To get started, log in to your Assemblis account.

Once you’re logged-in select Create an assembly report where you can start adding information about your assembly to create your shareable assembly report.

You can start adding information to your assembly report even before you’ve run your assembly. You can start a record, save a draft and come back to — so you don’t need to have everything ready all at once.

Don't have an account yet? You can sign-up now.

What should I include in my report?

The assembly report is your space to celebrate and showcase what you achieved — so it’s completely up to you what you include. Think of it as a place where you can tell the story of your assembly.

To help you here are a few tips and suggestions:

Outputs: What did your assembly decide, recommend, or commit to? This may be a recommendation for a local authority or other organization, a campaign idea, or actions that participants agreed to take. Add each output one at a time using the Add an output button. You can list as many as you like.

Organizer reflections and lessons: This is perhaps the most important part of your report, and the space for you to showcase and celebrate your achievements. You can also use this space to add advice for other organizers planning their own assemblies.

Questions you may want to think about and answer in this section:

Did you try something new? Did you adapt or change anything from the guidance you were given on running an assembly to to make it more relevant and valuable in your context? We want to hear about your creativity!

Are there any special moments from your assembly that you want to share? A moment when someone changed their minds? Something that shifted the room? Or something that was said that really stuck with you?

Did you face a challenge or moment of tension? How did you navigate it? Remember that even difficult moments can show achievements!

Is there any advice you would give to someone planning to run an assembly? Anything you would do differently next time?

What next?

Once you're happy with your report, select Preview and publish. Your assembly will be added to the Assemblis library, where organizers, researchers, and communities around the world can learn from what you did.

You can also share the link directly with participants, funders, and your wider network.
