Assemblis Terms of Use and Community Guidelines

Welcome to Assemblis. By using this platform, you agree to follow these Terms of Use and Community Guidelines.

1. Community Ethos

This community is a space for people to connect, share, and learn from one another through community assemblies. It is guided by principles of fair, inclusive, and deliberative dialogue, supporting resilient communities that take action together on the issues that matter most to them.

To maintain a safe and welcoming environment, users are expected to:

Be respectful: Listen to others, engage constructively, and value diverse perspectives.

Share responsibly: Post content that is relevant, accurate, and mindful of others’ privacy and rights.

2. User Conduct and Content Guidelines

Users agree not to submit any content or engage in any conduct that:

Violates the rights of others: including copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, moral rights, fiduciary obligations, or other intellectual property or proprietary rights.

Is unlawful or harmful: including, without limitation, content that is harassing, threatening, abusive, defamatory, invasive of privacy, obscene, profane, pornographic, or otherwise illegal.

Encourages illegal activity or harm: including content that instructs, advises, or promotes actions that could cause injury, damage, or legal liability.

Is promotional or commercial: including advertisements, solicitations, or requests for funds, unless explicitly permitted.

Violates export laws: including any laws or regulations regarding the export of data or software to or from any relevant jurisdictions.

Shares personal or sensitive information: including phone numbers, social security numbers, account numbers, addresses, employer references, or other personally identifiable information.

Is spam or disruptive: including chain mail, junk mail, unsolicited content, or content that places undue burden on platform systems or networks.

Contains harmful software: including viruses, malware, or other malicious code.

Additionally, any conduct that restricts or inhibits other users from accessing or enjoying the platform is prohibited.

3. Moderation and Enforcement

Content that violates these guidelines or the Terms of Use may be reviewed, removed, or limited. Moderation is intended to maintain a safe and productive environment and is not intended to restrict freedom of expression.

Reporting: Users are encouraged to report content that violates guidelines or is otherwise concerning. Reports will be investigated, and content may be removed or access restricted where appropriate in accordance with the Terms of Use and community ethos.
